Pauline Peyraud-Magnin is officially a new Juventus Women player! The goalkeeper, born in 1992, joins the Bianconere from Atletico Madrid and will wear the number 16 shirt next season.
Born in Lyon on 17 March 1992, Peyraud-Magnin made her debut with her city's first team in the 2012/13 season. That same year she won the French championship and the French Cup, before going on to repeat the double in 2013/14 too. After stints with Issy, Saint-Etienne and Marseille, she returned to Lyon in in 2017/18, where she also went on to win the UEFA Women's Champions League.
In 2018, she decided to leave the Division 1 Féminine for the first time in order to make a move to Arsenal, where she immediately won the FA Women's Super League under the guidance of Coach Joe Montemurro, whom she will meet once again this coming season. In the previous campaign, she could be found between the poles of Atletico Madrid, where she won the Supercopa Femenina de España.
Outside of her accolades and impressive performances for her clubs, she also featured for her country, France, with which she made your debut back in April 2019. Her start wasn’t easy, however, as she sustained a knee injury after 22 minutes. Pauline, however, reacted and recovered in the best possible: by writing her name in the history books of her national team, recording an unbeaten record of 1091 minutes without conceding a goal.
