Home.
A place you feel safe. A place you connect with.
Home is a simple word that indicates the space in which you live, but it’s also intrinsically linked with the concepts of belonging and identity.
That’s why, back on the evening of 8 September 2011, the Juventus faithful responded to the words of the club president with an ovation, a few moments before the ribbon was cut on our new home.
Since 2011, we’ve had a place of our own. Our own walls, our own stands – owned by us all. It’s place that became – with every game, every win – almost impregnable.
Since 2011, Juventus has a place that represents its identity, that recounts its history through Juventus Museum, that watches over the day-to-day work happening just over the road, at Continassa, where the squad trains at Juventus Training Centre and the club operates from its headquarters.
That place is, of course, Allianz Stadium, known as Juventus Stadium from its inauguration up until 2017. Since the doors were opened, it has seen the Bianconeri win the Scudetto trophy nine times and lay the foundations for five Coppa Italia and four Italian Super Cup wins. And it’s been the setting for some unforgettable nights of European football along the way too.
The story of Allianz Stadium already feels like it stretches back for hundreds of years, but in reality it has been exactly one decade since inauguration day.
Ten wonderful years which we’ve relived alongside you for the past week.
We’ve asked you for your best memory of Allianz Stadium and reacquainted you with the best 50 goals scored at our home.
50 Best Allianz Stadium Goals!
It was a collection of moments that have been indelibly etched into the hearts and minds of all Bianconeri fans. Every goal has its own unique tale and has contributed to writing each new page of our Allianz Stadium success story.
Over the past decade, our home has seen Juventus captains elevated to the level of icons, leaders and defenders of our honour.
These figures are the symbols of a period which has seen record after record broken on the pitch and in the stands of Allianz Stadiums. Yet those incredible numbers have gone hand in hand with that equally important sense of belonging and identity – a feeling that began on that late summer’s night in 2011 and that has become rooted deep within all Juventus fans in the time that has passed since.
So let us travel back exactly ten years, to 8 September 2011, to relive that special night when our home opened its doors for the first time. To that night when we began – alongside you – an incredible journey packed with unforgettable moments, and the enduring ambition that the greatest achievement is yet to come.
