Turin is a city of art, history, culture and, of course, football. But it is also a city of industry and architecture, and it is precisely these last two features of Turin that have inspired Juventus' 2023/24 third kit, which the Bianconeri and Adidas present today, just before the beginning of the new season.
The new third shirt will be worn for the first time away at Udinese, as we open the 2023/24 campaign.
The new Juventus kit incorporates a ribbed, knitted pattern, chosen to represent the textures and surfaces that can be spotted in Turin's architecture. The homage to the city's industrial heritage is in the base colour - charcoal - which completes a unique look.
But not only that, the choice of colour is a nod to the long history of legendary Juventus goalkeepers, again turning to a colour that has become synonymous with their jerseys over the years. The design is completed with a "Henry" style button-down collar and the iconic three stripes - in grey - down each sleeve.
The on-field version of the shirt is made with HEAT.RDY technology, optimised to give players comfort while playing. The fan version of the shirt uses AEROREADY technology, using breathable and absorbant material to keep the body dry.
Both versions mentioned above are made from 100 percent recycled materials, again representing just one of Adidas' solutions to help reduce and ultimately end plastic waste. Earlier this year, Adidas announced that it was ahead of schedule in its push to replace virgin polyester with recycled polyester wherever possible by the end of 2024.
The new Juventus Third Kit, as already stated, will be worn for the first time when the Bianconeri open the 2023/24 Serie A season away at Udinese, but it is already available to buy now both **in store and on the Juventus Online Store**.
