Press Room | Comments after Juventus-Roma

Coach Thiago Motta, Gleison Bremer and Federico Gatti spoke to the press after the 0-0 draw with AS Roma at the Allianz Stadium.

THIAGO MOTTA'S REACTION

“Tonight, we faced a good team, it was a very even game where we suffered a bit too much in the first half when we dropped back. We did better in the second half, we controlled the game more, but in the end I think a draw is a fair result. We have to keep working. We gained ground in the second half, it's clear that in the opponent's half of the pitch, against a team that defends like Roma, there is less space in which to operate. When we find space we have to play with quality to find players inside the penalty area in the best possible positions to score goals. I'm satisfied with the group, the commitment and the attitude they've had from day one to today. We have a lot of strong players who can play different roles depending on the match and the opponent.”

GLEISON BREMER'S THOUGHTS

“We have to work to make ourselves more dangerous against a team that defends deeper, we created more in the second half but it was not enough. We are only at the beginning of our journey, we haven't conceded a goal in these three games which is definitely a positive, but we have to improve by working hard every day.”

FEDERICO GATTI'S COMMENTS

“There is a sense of regret because we wanted to win, we take this point but we are not completely happy. We lacked some quality from us defenders when playing out from the back, it's a pity because we wanted to go into the international break with three wins. Now come these two weeks where we will have to work even harder. The captain's armband? The coach has given me this huge opportunity, it's a great responsibility and I try to give everything for my teammates, the coach and the fans.”
