PSG - JUVE | THE EX FACTOR

The Juventus summer transfer market on the incoming side was wrapped up with the signing of Leandro Paredes. The midfielder arrived from Champions League opponents Paris Saint Germain, who he had joined in January 2019. After 117 appearances collected with Les Parisiens, he was one of two Argentines in line to face their former side, but injury has sidelined his re-found teammate.

ANGEL DI MARIA

The above photo captures one of the moments from the last time that PSG and Juventus met. It happened in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium on July 26, 2017. Juventus won the summer friendly 3-2 when Angel Di Maria was in the third of his seven seasons spent in the French capital. Also in the picture making the save is Gigi Buffon, whose 20 year stay at Juventus was interrupted by one season at PSG in 2018/19. Subsituted at half-time in the weekend's match against Fiorentina, Angel's injury has kept him out of the squad for what would have been an immediate return to the stadium that he called home for seven years.

ADRIEN RABIOT

Another of the players in Massimiliano Allegri's squad that unites PSG and Juve is Adrien Rabiot, who came through the French club's academy. Rabiot made his First Team debut for the Rouge et Bleu under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti and carved out a leading role for himself over his seven seasons there until his arrival in Turin in the summer of 2019.

MOISE KEAN

Moise Kean has also worn the shirt of PSG. Moise performed well at the Parc des Princes club in his one season in France, in 2020/21. In Ligue 1, he netted 13 goals in 26 games and added three more in his nine Champions League appearances in PSG's run to the semi-finals.
