Rolando Mandragora joins Udinese

Rolando Mandragora joins Udinese after two and a half years at Juventus.

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Rolando Mandragora has been finalized for a consideration of € 20 million to be paid in four financial years.

The economic effect is positive for about € 14,7 million.

The agreement also provides Juventus the option right, to be exercised at the end of 2019/2020 football season, for the definitive re-acquisition of the player at a price of € 26 million to be paid in two financial years.In case Udinese Calcio will definitively transfer the player to a third club before the expiring date of this option right, Juventus will be entitled to receive an indemnity of € 200 thousand and a bonus equal to 50% of the amounts collected by Udinese for the definitive transfer above the sum of € 20 million.




Having been signed by the Bianconeri in January 2016 from Genoa, Mandragora went on loan immediately to Pescara. The midfielder made his Juventus debut the following campaign against his former club, Genoa.

The Campania native spent last season on loan at Crotone, where he made 36 appearances and scored two goals, becoming the youngest player to have played at least 30 Serie A games during the 2017/18 season.

Furthermore, last year Mandragora was the midfielder who intercepted the most balls (86) in the Europe's five major leagues. His form at Crotone earnt him his Italian national team debut last month against World Cup winners, France.
