The first international break of the 2024/25 season is upon us, with 10 Juventus players involved in the first matches of the UEFA Nations League as well as the South American World Cup qualifier. In addition, several Bianconeri are involved at Under-21 national level across various qualifiers for the next edition of the U-21 European Championships.
Below are the details of all the Bianconeri involved in national team action.
EUROPE
ITALY (Federico Gatti, Andrea Cambiaso, Nicolo Fagioli): The Italian national team coached by Luciano Spalletti is back in action following EURO 2024, with their first two UEFA Nations League fixtures on the horizon. Three Bianconeri have been included in the squad to face France at the Parc des Princes in Paris, before facing off against Israel in Budapest.
TURKEY (Kenan Yildiz): The first two UEFA Nations League matches for the Turkish national team, who will have Yildiz at their disposal, will see them play against Wales and Iceland - first away in Cardiff and then at home in Izmir.
SOUTH AMERICA
BRAZIL (Danilo): Brazil will be involved in two World Cup qualifying matches over the next week, with Danilo called up for matches against Ecuador at home and then Paraguay away.
ARGENTINA (Nico Gonzalez): Nico Gonzalez's Argentina will also be involved in World Cup qualifying action, taking on Chile at home, and then Juan Cabal's Colombia away.
COLOMBIA (Juan Cabal): The Juventus full-back has been called up by Colombia who, in addition to the aforementioned challenge against the reigning world champions, will also face Peru in their upcoming World Cup qualifying match-ups.
UNDER-21S
ITALY UNDER-21 (Nicolo Savona): There are two important matches scheduled for the Italian Under-21 national team, who take on San Marino at home and Norway away, in two European Championship qualifiers.
BELGIUM UNDER-21 (Samuel Mbangula): Samuel Mbangula's Belgium Under-21 side will face Kazakhstan Under 21 in their sole European Championship qualifier.
SWEDEN UNDER-21 (Jonas Rouhi): European Under-21 qualifiers are also on the cards for Jonas Rouhi's Sweden, who face Gibraltar's Under-21s at home and then Moldova’s Under-21s away.
