Three days since Empoli, three days until Milan.
At the midway point between two crucial fixtures in their championship run-in, the Bianconeri were back in Vinovo this morning to build on the preliminary tactical groundwork laid in yesterday’s session ahead of this weekend’s mouthwatering trip to the San Siro.
After a brief warm-up it was straight into the nuts and bolts of Saturday’s gameplan for Massimiliano Allegri’s men, working predominately on possession retention while walking through the various moves and combinations to be replicated in Milan.
Absent from the group however was Paulo Dybala who continues to work towards a return to full fitness after sitting out last week’s victory at Juventus Stadium through injury.
The champions are expected back in Vinovo at the same time tomorrow, with the Rossoneri and three more Serie A points the sole focus between now and 20.45 CEST on Saturday.
