1995/96 – Juventus 1-0 Parma
Played on a cold midwinter’s day in January 1996, Juventus saw off Parma in what was a remake of the previous season’s Coppa Italia final. The Bianconeri made sure of winning this encounter too, as Gianluca Vialli’s first-half strike proved to be the difference between the sides, sealing a first ever Super Cup for the Old Lady.
1997/98 – Juventus 3-0 Vicenza
Juventus reclaimed the Super Cup at the first time of asking by beating a combative Vicenza side 3-0 in Turin. The opponents defended well to keep the teams level at the break, but they finally let up in the second half. Filippo Inzaghi it was who broke the deadlock in the Bianconeri’s favour, before doubling the lead moments later with another tap-in from within the six-yard box. The icing on the cake arrived 15 minutes from time when Antonio Conte hit an unstoppable first-time strike from distance to send Juventus' fans into raptures.
2002/03 – Juventus 2-1 Parma
Alessandro Del Piero would be the star of the show in Juventus’ 2-1 triumph over Parma in Tripoli. The forward capitalised on two fine assists from his strike partners, both named Marcelo – Salas and Zalayeta respectively. The former flicked a sumptuous ball for the Italy international to drive home the opener. Marco Di Vaio curled in to provide the equaliser for Parma, before Del Piero netted from close-range following a strong run down the wing from Uruguayan Zayaleta to ensure the Bianconeri took home the spoils from North Africa.
2003/04 – Juventus 1-1 Milan (5-3 on pens)
In what was a remake of the Champions League final just two months earlier, this close contest between Juventus and Milan would again be decided by penalties. Goalless after 90 minutes, Gianluca Zambrotta came closest to opening the scoring with a thunderous strike bouncing off the crossbar. Andrea Pirlo would put the Rossoneri in front from the spot before David Trezeguet turned in from close range to send the tie to a shootout. Marco Di Vaio, Trezeguet, Alessandro Birindelli, Mauro Camoranesi and Ciro Ferrara all converted their spot-kicks to give the Bianconeri their fourth Super Cup success.
2012/13 – Juventus 4-2 Napoli (after E-T)
The first Super Cup final to be held on Chinese soil certainly did not lack in excitement. Napoli opened the scoring through Edinson Cavani, but were pegged back immediately by a sweetly-struck Kwadwo Asamoah volley from range. Goran Pandev and Arturo Vidal both got on the scoresheet to take the thriller into extra-time, when Juventus would take the lead for the first time of the evening through a Christian Maggio own goal. Mirko Vucinic’s cool finish moments later ensured the Bianconeri would claim a famous win in Beijing.
2013/14 – Juventus 4-0 Lazio
Juventus completed a comprehensive demolition job on Vladimir Petkovic’s Lazio in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico. An instinctive turn and shot from Paul Pogba ensured Antonio Conte’s men would hold a 1-0 advantage at the break. Any hopes the Biancolesti may have harboured of a comeback would, however, disappear shortly afterwards, as Giorgio Chiellini, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Carlos Tevez all got in on the action in four ruthless minutes of Bianconeri dominance.
