Juventus prepare to take on Maccabi Haifa tonight in Matchday Four of the UEFA Champions League.
The match will kick-off at the Sammy Ofer Stadium at 18:45 CEST and here are the big curiosities to know ahead of the game:
JUVE'S MACCABI STREAK | Maccabi Haifa have lost all three matches against Juventus in the Champions League. The Israelis were defeated in both matches played in 2009/10 and last week in Turin.
SUCCESS OVER OPPONENTS | Juventus have won all matches in the Champions League against Maccabi Haifa. Should the Bianconeri triumph with another win, Juve could defeat the same opponent in four consecutive matches in the competition for the fourth time after Ajax (four games - November 2004) , Dynamo Kiev (five games - December 2020) and Malmo (four games - December 2021).
MACCABI UCL FORM | Maccabi Haifa's last home win in the Champions League was in October 2002 (Maccabi Haifa 3-0 Manchester United). Since then, the Israelis have lost their last four home matches played in the competition, without scoring in three of them (one goal in total).
HOME THREAT | Maccabi midfielder, Dolev Haziza was directly involved in five goals in four home games in the 2022/23 Champions League, including the qualifying rounds (one goal, four assists), including the assist for their only goal scored so far, against PSG.
ANGEL TOP'S ASSISTS | In the first three matches of this Champions League group stage no one has delivered more assists than Juventus' Angel Di Maria with three, all of them coming in the 3-1 win over Maccabi Haifa.
