The relationship between Juventus and Leonardo Bonucci has come to an end. A celebrated journey, full of many successes and victories that have written this story, lived together. The defender’s career will now continue at Union Berlin in Germany.
From 2010 (the year of his transfer from Bari) to 2023, Leo shared 12 trophy-laden seasons with Juve, playing in the role of central pivot in the mythological defensive trio alongside Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini, before going on to guide the next set of youngsters like Matthijs De Ligt, Gleison Bremer and Federico Gatti.
Having celebrated the milestone of 500 Juventus appearances last season, Bonucci leaves with an impressive CV in black and white: eight Scudetti, four Italian Cups and five Italian Super Cups.
A big thank you to you, Leo, and all the best for the future!
