The new Trophy Temple and “JuventUS” exhibition: what an afternoon at J-Museum!

The Juventus Museum enjoyed a double celebration on 9 October, on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the presidency of Edoardo Agnelli, the beginning of the family's ownership.

The venue par excellence of the club's history and successes was blessed with a double inauguration: a renovated Temple of Trophies and the "JuventUS" exhibition, which celebrates inclusivity.

A new look, more dynamic and interactive, to celebrate the club's cups and successes, characterises the new Trophy Temple, a true jewel of the Museum, which finds a new location and is enriched with all-new technological special effects.

Juventus has chosen the centenary year to offer its fans renewed excitement by remembering the 83 trophies won by the club, of which only one was not won under the leadership of the Agnelli family.

THE WORDS OF PAOLO GARIMBERTI

“Since the J-Museum was inaugurated in May 2012, 30 trophies have arrived: 19 won by the men's team and 11 by the women's team, which did not yet exist when the Museum was opened,” said Paolo Garimberti, President of Juventus Museum. “Because of space, but also the confident belief that other trophies will arrive in the future, have pushed us to enlarge what we now call the Temple of Trophies, also to make it more interactive and emotional, merging it with the room that concluded the museum itinerary. Now our fans will not only be able to admire the cups won by Juventus, but they will also be able to experience them with increased intensity. The 100th anniversary of the ownership (it was, in fact, 1923 when Edoardo Agnelli assumed the presidency) is thus remembered with this initiative which is completed with the "JuventUS" exhibition, dedicated to the theme of inclusion, which, together with innovation, is the dominant connotation in the century-old relationship between family and society."

AN EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO INCLUSION

As anticipated by Paolo Garimberti, the second big news of the day celebrates inclusivity, with the inauguration of the "JuventUS" exhibition, curated by Paolo Rossi, which can be visited until 7 January 2024. And the Juventus family is the true protagonist of the temporary exhibition, which through the theme of inclusion, retraces the most important stages in the history of the club and its fans, over time up until today. Inclusion which is contained in the very name of the club, thanks to the suffix "US", and which is pursued through support for projects all over the world, with particular attention to the youth, as described in the word "Juventus".

HISTORIC PATH

One cannot help but start from the historic bench of Corso Re Umberto, on which Juventus was founded in 1897, to chronologically celebrate the salient moments of Juventus history and at the same time, the development of the socio-cultural context within which Juventus has grown, reaching the hearts of fans throughout Italy and around the world.

At the center of the room are the pillars of inclusion: four totems, each with its own shape and theme, which represent the four fundamental pillars on which Juventus has built its social impact projects over the last 5 years: social inclusion, inclusion of disabilities, inclusion of diversity in the broad sense and education. The pillars are the direct testimony of those who have benefited from these projects in recent years: thoughts, phrases and real feedback from girls, boys and adolescents who have restored the value of what they left in schools during lessons, on the field or in workshops organised by Juventus and the Juventus Museum. And these will be the pillars from which the new teaching room will be born, which will open its doors in January and will be housed in this same room, intended for inclusive education projects which will be carried out in collaboration with the Agnelli Foundation.

The wall with the writing "JUVENTUS" will certainly have an impact: a work of art in progress, which will materialize thanks to the photos taken by visitors to the exhibition. Fans who will be able to receive a snapshot printed on the spot as a souvenir of the exhibition, in addition to the digital version of the shot taken.

Finally, a video that contains all the initiatives that Juventus has created over the years, on the theme of inclusion, to tell all fans about the club's social commitment.

“JuventUS” will be open to visitors starting tomorrow – Tuesday, 10 October – and be included in the Juventus Museum itinerary. For more information, see HERE.
