Emergency at the stadium? Don't panic, Juventus will take care of it! This morning, on Saturday 18 November, a special training session was held at Allianz Stadium: an exercise that involved a large group of people simulating a response to an explosion in the first tier of the south stand.
This is not the first time that Juventus has taken part in such an initiative. To build on the training for the personnel working inside the facility, the simulation followed a script outlined to make the critical situation realistic. They responded to the possibility of a sudden explosion causing several people to be injured at the same time, meaning a precise and effective emergency plan had to be implemented.
Approximately 560 people took part in the simulation, including 450 stewards in various roles (stewards on duty, people injured during the event, extras as spectators), 100 voluntary health workers and 10 make-up artists with the task of simulating various injuries on 40 people. There were also four ambulances on site.
Members of the Operational Security Group (GOS) were also present as observers during the event.
The entire operation had the desired effect, providing important directions for the event such an incident ever occurs.
Going to the stadium means fun and entertainment, and Juventus is committed to making this experience a safe one, for everyone's well-being.
