The Under-20 World Cup continues in Argentina, where the Italian youngsters coached by Carmine Nunziata have prolonged their stay in South America following their quarter-final success on Saturday night.
Facing off against Colombia with Juve's Riccardo Turicchia once again in the starting line-up, the Azzurrini were too strong for their Last 8 opponents, as goals from Cesare Casadei, Tommaso Baldanzi and Francesco Esposito secured the 3-1 win, and safe passage into the tournament's semi-final.
It was a fourth start in five matches for Turicchia, who played the entire match, while club teammate Filippo Fiumanò did not take the field.
Italy will face Korea Republic in Thursday's Last 4 showdown.
