After Juventus Women’s First Team’s excellent two-legged victory against PSG in Round 2 of the UEFA Women's Champions League, the draw for the group stage of Europe's top competition was made in Nyon today, and it was decided that Juventus Women's three opponents will be Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Valerenga. Stefano Braghin, Women's Director of Football, commented on the Bianconere’s European success and the draw:
“To get to play in the UWCL Group Stage again, after a year's absence, is a great satisfaction. To be able to say that we have already achieved one of our goals for the season in September is very important for us. Now we will give our all in each of the group stage matches, playing without pressure or special expectations but instead with freedom. Then, in December, we will see what we deserve from this competition. We will have to get used to managing our energy levels well without taking our eye off the Women’s Serie A, in which we will have to win a place for next season's Champions League and, given the standard of competition, it will not be easy."
