Vangsgaard: I want to score goals and win trophies

Between visits, fans, autographs and photos, Amalie Vangsgaard is experiencing and processing a lot of emotions as our most recent signing.

Having completed her move to join the Bianconere, Amalie spoke for the first time to share her feelings: “I am really happy to be here. This day has been very special, I've been made to feel very welcome.”

A BIG CLUB

“Of course, I was familiar with Juventus. When a big club like this calls you, it is always extremely exciting. I wrote to Sofie Junge Pedersen, who told me that there is an extremely professional atmosphere here. There is great support for the women's team and I can't wait to get to work.”

On Juventus and Italian football as a whole, Amalie said: “I have been aware of the women's football movement in Italy, and of course at Juventus. Over the past few years, it has been one of the most important and representative teams in women’s football. It has brought great value to the world of women's sport”.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM AMALIE?

"I am a striker. I like to score goals by getting in behind. My idols? Of course, as a child I followed the big stars like [Lionel] Messi and [] Ronaldo. Another source of inspiration for me is Denmark's Pernille Harder, with whom I am lucky enough to play on the national team.”

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY

"My objectives? Score lots of goals, win trophies and help the team do its best. I want to make the most of this great opportunity and I can't wait to meet our fans. Forza Juve!"
