11 September 2011, the first official match at the Allianz Stadium

The first time you set foot inside your new home is impossible to forget. On 8 September 2011 the Allianz Stadium (at that time, Juventus Stadium) was inaugurated, and a few days later, on 11 September 2011, it opened its doors for the first time for an official match.

It was the second matchday of the 2011/12 Serie A championship (but the first played, due to the postponement of the first): Juventus vs Parma. The result is etched in everyone's memory, like every moment of that day: a 4-1 win with goals from Stephan Lichtsteiner, Simone Pepe, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio. Even the opposition's goal, on a day like that, could only come from one who had grown up in black and white: Sebastian Giovinco.
