The wait for Juventus’ return to Serie A action is almost over with Saturday evening’s encounter against Empoli fast approaching.
With only two days remaining until the visit of the Azzurri, Massimiliano Allegri’s men led out his charges this afternoon for an all-encompassing training session, in which they worked on fitness, technique and tactics.
Mario Lemina was the latest player to return to the group this afternoon after spending the past week with the Gabon national side. Having played on Tuesday night for Colombia against Ecuador, Juan Cuadrado was granted an extra day off, while Paulo Dybala, Andrea Barzagli and Claudio Marchisio continued to train alone as they work to reach full fitness.
The Bianconeri will add the finishing touches to their preparations for the visit of Empoli tomorrow afternoon following Allegri’s press conference at midday CEST, which, as ever, can be followed via live tweets on the club’s official English language Twitter profile.
