Juve's march in the league continues, and the Bianconeri further increased their advantage at the top of the table last Friday night with a 3-0 win over Frosinone. Now the focus is back on Europe, as Juventus return to Champions League action on Wednesday night, against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
"We have 13 points on Napoli, but despite this we cannot take our foot off the pedal - underlines Alex Sandro to the Sky Sport microphones - we must remain attentive and focused in order to further increase our advantage. Preparing for the Champions League is always a bit different than Serie A, but the concentration levels are raised, as we move towards the final part of both competitions."
Griezmann, Diego Costa and Morata. The Atletico attack is of the highest level, but it's not the only weapon available to Diego Simeone: "They are all great champions - the Brazilian exclaims - but Atletico is able to play not only in the offensive phase, but also in the defensive phase as well, so we cannot think about focusing only on those three, because there are other players equally as important. We know Atletico well and their way of playing, they are a well-built team, used to the Champions League and reaching the latter stages, but Juventus, when we enter the field, we do it to win."
Leonard Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini have recovered in-time for the match, with starting the match against Frosinone, and their presence, as well as that of Cristiano Ronaldo will be key in Madrid: "They are experienced players, important in both attack and defence. They have all played at the top level for a long time and are always important for us. Cristiano is helping the team a lot with his experience and quality. He's doing well both in Serie A and in the Champions League, and we all hope that he will continue like this."
