"The team is doing well ahead of the Derby della Mole, but we won't have Federico Chiesa or Dusan Vlahovic available. Everyone else is ready to play this very important match. It's a derby and we want to win it."
These were the first words of Coach Massimiliano Allegri, in the usual pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's Turin Derby, kicking off at 18:00 CEST at the Allianz Stadium. Read up on the rest of the presser below:
TEAM NEWS
"Moise Kean is doing well and will play. It's sad not to have Chiesa and Vlahovic because they are doing very well, but these things are part of the game. Kenan Yildiz? He is ready to play like everyone else who is available. Tomorrow I will see, the Derby is important and above all for us it could serve as another step forward in the standings. We are calm. Goalscorers? We have Kean, Arek Milik and Yildiz, in midfield we have Adrien Rabiot, who is a goal scorer, Nicolo Fagioli and Fabio Miretti who will start to score goals soon, and then several defenders who are always dangerous on dead-ball situations."
OPPOSITION
"We face a Torino that is difficult to play against, an aggressive team led by Ivan Juric who is an excellent coach. For him, the results he achieved and the growth of his players speak for themselves. There will be no wholesale changes for us. As I said, the other players in the squad are well, so that will determine our choices for tomorrow's match. We will have to play a good game in every respect".
THE POINT IN BERGAMO
"Settling for a point? We weren't satisfied in Bergamo, as we weren't able to be effective in the attacking phase. Atalanta is a strong team and they also showed it against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League. Tomorrow will be a different match, there will be a full stadium and our fans will give us a hand. It is important to face these challenges together. We are not satisfied with a result other than victory. Tomorrow will be a derby and these are always special matches. In managing the ball and passing, we will undoubtedly have to play a better match than the one in Bergamo, aware of the value of the team we will face."
