The new season is just around the corner for the Bianconere, and in light of this, the club can confirm that goalkeepers Roberta Aprile and Camilla Forcinella have penned in a permanent deal that will tie them to the club until 2025.
Aprile, who arrived at the club in the summer of 2021 from Inter (on loan) turned out a total of eight times for the Bianconere in Serie A and on three occasions in the Italian Cup. On every occasion upon entering the field, she proved to have a positive mindset and eagerness to put herself on the line in order to do her best for the team. Many will remember her fantastic save against Sassuolo that saw her push away a long-range effort to keep the Bianconere in the lead. Her debut season ended in great success, with three trophies to her name as Juventus secured an unprecedented domestic treble success.
The same goes for Camilla Forcinella, who also enjoyed a winning season with the Bianconere despite arriving days after Juventus’ success in the Super Cup in January earlier this year from Fiorentina (loan). During her first six months at the club, Forcinella displayed a willingness to learn alongside her teammates as she got to lift the League title and the Italian Cup.
Both stoppers will certainly look to continue showcasing the great spirit and sacrifice they have displayed since the first day they stepped into the walls of Vinovo.
To three more years together, congratulations ladies. See you on the pitch.
