Arianna Caruso's journey with Juventus Women has come to an end, and with her departure we bid farewell to a player who contributed more than her share to the story of the Bianconere. The numbers speak volumes - she made 237 appearances across all competitions, leaving as the Bianconera with the most appearances for the club.

In Italy and abroad

Caruso played 158 Serie A matches with the Bianconere, the most of any player in the club's history. She played 35 times in the Italian Cup, and eight in the Italian Super Cup.

Then there were 36 Women's Champions League appearances as well, of which 25 were in the tournament proper and 11 in the qualification phase. Again, no player ever played more times in these competitions than Caruso.

A constant threat in attack

Beyond being a leader and a controlling figure in midfield, Caruso was always a potent threat in front of goal. Her 60 goals across all competitions have her as Juventus Women's third-highest goalscerer, behind only Cristiana Girelli's 126 and Barbara Bonansea's 90.

Since 2020/21, Caruso took part in 57 goals - 32 goals and 25 assists - which shows just how much of a threat she was from midfield. That total is more than even Manuela Giugliano's 55. As well, since her first goal in Serie A back in 2015/16, only Giugliano (64) has more than her 47 among midfielders.
