Many of the Juventus players participated in friendly matches for their nations yesterday.
The first to take the field was Turkey and, of course, Merih Demiral, who came on in the 54th minute, as they played to a 3-3 draw against Croatia.
Dejan Kulusevski also made a second half appearance in the Scandinavian derby lost 2-0 by his Sweden against Denmark.
In the Azzurri's home friendly match against Estonia, won 4-0, Federico Bernardeschi played (until the 71st minute) and scored. While Leonardo Bonucci was rested.
Then there were a round of victories for Wojciech Szczesny's Poland, who was on the bench for full 90 minutes, in the home win over Ukraine, while Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal in the 7-0 home win against Andorra. That goal saw the Portuguese record yet another record, as he reached Ferenc Puskás’ total of 746 career goals.
Alvaro Morata and Spain, however, were unable to go beyond a 1-1 scoreline against Netherlands. The Juventus No. 9 started the game and remained on the pitch until the 60th minute, as he assisted in Sergio Canales’ goal.
Wrapping up the evening of friendlies was Adrien Rabiot's France, who did not feature in the game, as they fell to a defeat at the Stade de France by Finland.
Tonight, Weston McKennie will be in action for the United States against Wales.
