The Derby della Mole is fast approaching. Three huge points are up for grabs, but what's more, so are the citiy bragging rights.
There are four players in the current squad that have scored in the derby at the Allianz Stadium for a total of five goals, some of which have been decisive.
POGBA SPECIAL
The derby on 31 October 2015 has gone down in history for two reasons. Firstly it marks the start of a comeback that took Juve from the lower half of the table all the way to the Scudetto. Secondly it was one of the many all-city showdowns that went down to the wire.
Paul Pogba opened the scoring with a shot from distance, set up by an assist from Juan Cuadrado and a dummy by Paulo Dybala.
CUADRADO THE CONQUERER
Cuadrado did not stop there, especiallys since Cesare Bovo had equalised for Toro.
With only seconds remaining, Alex Sandro broke down the right and played the ball into the middle. El Panita threw himself at it and at full stretch made contact to slide it home.
CUADRADO AGAIN
Cuadrado scored again in the derby, and at the same end. It happened in the match to be played on 4 July 2020, when football resumed after the long stop due to COVID-19.
Juve-Toro ended 4-1 in the Bianconeri's favour with the Colombian grabbing the team's second goal. A trademark double stepover to dribble Lyanco before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the net.
FOUR WITHOUT REPLY
Juve in season 2017-18 started off at full speed and arrived at the derby on the back of five wins from five games. This derby was another dominated by the Bianconeri. The final score read 4-0.
Of the players available to Massimiliano Allegri today it was Alex Sandro that put his name on the scoresheet, with the third goal, a header at the near post from a corner kick delivered by Miralem Pjanic.
COMEBACK KINGS
Two years ago we witnessed one of the most emotional derbies played at home. With 12 minutes to play Toro were leading 1-0. Juve were down but far from out.
On 77' Cuadrado swung in the cross and Weston McKennie powered home the header for 1-1.
Rinse. Repeat.
On 89' Cuadrado swung in the cross and Leonadro Bonucci powered home the header for 2-1.
