A draw is the most common result over time from the previous matches between Milan and Juventus at the Meazza, but no other team has won there as often as Juventus. The San Siro confrontation has produced its own fascinating story, each moment capturing so much of the best football of each era. In this photo, Juventus celebrate last year's 3-1 victory.
THE WILL TO WIN
Giorgio Chiellini is a veteran of Milan-Juventus veterans - how could it be otherwise? Here we see him with the captain's armband in 2018/19. The 2-0 victory represented a show of strength by Massimiliano Allegri's men against the Rossoneri, led by a never-say-die spirit of their own, Rino Gattuso.

Gonzalo Higuain takes on two opponents under the watchful eye of Sami Khedira. A moment of Milan-Juventus in 2017/18, a match totally dominated by Pipita, with a goal in each half. Two unstoppable shots which Donnarumma could do absolutely nothing about. The inspiration arrived from Paulo Dybala, with an assist and a sublime dummy.
A FLEDGLING FUTURE JUVENTINO
Then opponents, today teammates: Juan Cuadrado and Manuel Locatelli compete for a ball in the 2016/17 season. That year Milan-Juventus was decided by an eighteen-year-old already in love with the Lady. His unforgettable strike for the Rossoneri still leads him to be good-naturedly reprimanded by his grandmother, a die-hard Juve fan.
TOP OF THE WORLD
1997 - the most memorable Milan-Juventus of all time. The Bianconeri, the best team in the world, confirm at San Siro what was made evident a short time before in Paris with a 6-1 triumph in the European Super Cup. It was the same result against Milan. Despite being the defending Italian champions, the Rossoneri were totally overwhelmed by Vladimire Jugovic and his teammates.
CAPTAINS, RIVALS, COMPANIONS
The first of April, 1995, Milan definitively abdicate the throne as champions for three consecutive seasons. Juventus took a huge step towards the scudetto thanks to the 2-0 win at San Siro. Competing captains on the day, Roberto Baggio and Franco Baresi, would soon become teammates as the Divin Codino moved to the Milanese rivals at the end of this season.
