After the recent renewals of Linda Sembrant and Sofie Junge Pedersen, there’s another piece of wonderful news that has been confirmed: Lisa Boattin and Pauline Peyraud-Magnin, after a season full of satisfaction and successes, have extended their contract until 2024.
For Lisa, next season will be her sixth season in the black and white shirt. Since day one, she has been at the club, and together we have won a lot. Her trophy cabinet, in fact, glistens with none other than nine trophies which were all raised to the sky with Juventus Women: 5 Scudetti, 1 Italian Cup and 3 Italian Super Cups. The last of these, the fifth Scudetto, was raised on Monday evening at the Allianz Stadium on a special and unforgettable night. But we cannot forget that she has the possibility of reaching double figures on Sunday, should her and her teammates be successful in the Italian Cup final against Roma. This has been a very special year for Lisa, where outside of her impressive performances in defence, she scored on 8 occasions - a lot for a "simple" full-back. Lisa is a pillar of this team, one of the eight pillars of the five fantastic years… She is also one of the eight players who has reached 100 appearances across all competitions with Juventus Women, and, who yesterday, had the honour of bringing their shirts to the Juventus Museum.
Today, however, is an important day even for those who have only been here for one season, but who has already entered into everyone's hearts. We are talking about Pauline Peyraud-Magnin: the goalkeeper has also extended her contract until 2024. Pauline immediately became a point of reference for her companions this past season. Her personality and experience have turned out to be a winning combination in all the results the Bianconere achieved this year. This of course does not end here, as the final of the Italian Cup awaits, and it could see her and her teammates seal a domestic treble. We can’t wait to make more memories together with her.
