After Juventus Women's win over Roma to win the italian Super Cup in Cremona, captain of the day Lisa Boattin shared her thoughts.
“Lifting this trophy is very important,” captain Boattin, said. “We wanted to win this Super Cup and we worked so hard in these last few days that I was convinced we would bring it home.
“We had to suffer a bit against a strong team, but we did it together and knowing how to suffer is so important. I’m happy, we all played well.
“I’d dedicate this win to ourselves, the whole team. We came into this off the back of a really hard defeat to take. It’s a complicated season and I dedicate this win to everybody who knew how essential it was to win. This is a point to start again from, to keep fighting as a team.”
