Juventus took home three points whilst on the road in Brescia, after they claimed a 1-2 victory over the Swallows at Stadio Mario Rigamonti on Tuesday evening. Alfredo Donnarumma opened the scoring after just four minutes on the clock, but an own goal and a strike from Miralem Pjanic saw the Bianconeri secure the victory.

Following Saturday’s victory over Hellas Verona, Maurizio Sarri opted to give Aaron Ramsey his second start in a row, along with Paulo Dybala, while Adrien Rabiot was handed his first start for the Bianconeri.

There was barely a moment to breathe before Brescia stunned the Italian champions with a goal in the fourth minute through Alfredo Donnarumma, when he hit an angled drive to beat Szczesny at the near post as it struck the roof of the net. A good chance then fell to Sami Khedira in the 17th minute, when he fired an angled drive that skipped across the face of goal: Joronen was beaten but the ball went out at the far side.

Sarri was forced to make his first change of the match two minutes later due to injury to Danilo, who limped off with a disappointed look on his face as Juan Cuadrado was called in to action. Paulo Dybala then followed up with some great one-touch play to feed a ball to Higuain, he then burst into the box and fired straight at the goalkeeper, only for the offside flag to be raised. Mario Balotelli, who was making his debut for Brescia after serving a four-match ban, struck a ferocious long-range free-kick on the half hour, which forced Szczesny into finger-tipping his effort over the bar. The Bianconeri turned the scoreline level just before the break when a corner kick was turned into the back of the net by Jhon Chancellor.

Joronen made an impressive series of saves after the break. The first came after Higuain burst into the box and fired at goal, the shot-stopper rushed off his line and parried away the first effort, before returning to his feet to pluck a dangerous Chancellor clearance out of the air. Dybala was then next to threaten Joronen, with his pull-back; the ball was cleared before Rabiot struck on the rebound and an effort was dispersed off the line.

Juventus then turned the scoreline 1-2 in favour of them when Dybala struck his free-kick into the wall: Miralem Pjanic connected onto the rebound and struck from distance: it sailed past Joronen and into the back of the net. Federico Bernardeschi was brought on in place of Ramsey in the 70th minute, while Matuidi replaced Dybala ten minutes later. The Bianconeri dominated the final stages of the game, as they maintained their lead to claim the victory.
