Rodrigo Bentancur and Martin Caceres got their Copa America campaign underway in stellar fashion with Uruguay when they claimed a 4-0 victory over Ecuador. While Kean featured in Italy's U21 triumph against Spain.
Both Juventus players featured in the game from the very first minute, and they played a crucial role in claiming an impressive triumph in their first group match of the tournament.
Lodeiro opened the scoring in the sixth minute for Uruguay, before Cavani and Suarez struck in the 33rd and 44th minute respectively, with Caceres providing the decisive assist for the third goal. The match was wrapped up in the 78th minute, through an own goal by Arturo Mina.
Alex Sandro will be the next Bianconero in action in the Copa America, when his Brazil faces Venezuela on 19 June.
Meanwhile, in Italy, Moise Kean started for Luigi di Biagio's Azzurrini side in the curtain raiser to the Euro U21 in Bologna. The hosts got their campaign underway in excellent fashion when they came back from a goal down to claim a 3-1 win. Kean featured for 61 minutes, after being replaced by Patrick Cutrone.
