After making their triumphant return from Palermo last night, the Bianconeri were back in Vinovo this morning to begin preparations for Wednesday’s decisive Champions League last 16 second leg encounter with Borussia Dortmund.
Spirits are high in the camp following back-to-back Serie A wins without conceding, meaning Massimiliano Allegri and his men will travel to the Westfalenstadion confident of finishing the job they started with a 2-1 win at Juventus Stadium 19 days ago.
The usual post-match routine was observed upon the team’s arrival in Vinovo: those who featured in last night’s victory underwent a warm-down in the gym, while the remainder of the squad worked outside on the training pitches with Allegri and his backroom staff.
Missing out were Stefano Sturaro, who was forced to depart the action at the start of the second half after twisting his right ankle, and Paolo De Ceglie, who suffered a bruised right knee.
Both are expected to undergo tests on their respective injuries.
