Charity fundraiser lights up Juventus Stadium

Tuesday brought a magical evening of fundraising football as the ‘National Singers’ and ‘Champions of Research’ contested the ‘Partita del Cuore’ exhibition match at Juventus Stadium.

Fans forming part of a capacity crowd saw the likes of Massimiliano Allegri, Pavel Nedved and Alessandro Del Piero roll back the years against the ‘Champions of Research’, who included John Elkann and Andrea Agnelli in their ranks.

The game, which finished 4-4, will enable significant funds to be raised for Fondazione Telethon, a biomedical charity established to research genetic diseases, and Piedmont’s Candiolo Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment.
