A fantastic hat-trick by Cristiano Ronaldo saw Portugal sweep aside Switzerland, as they qualified for the final of the Nations League. CR7 lit up the show at Estádio do Dragão in Porto, where in the first half, he scored the opening goal with a fantastic free-kick. After the break, the visitors found the equaliser through a penalty by Rodriguez, but it was all Portugal in the closing stages of the game, despite the Swiss being tough opponents. Ronaldo sent Bernardo Silva's delightful assist into the back of the net in the 88th minute, before securing his third and final goal following a counter attack to bring his tally with the national team to 88 goals.
Portugal will be back in action against on Sunday at Dragão, where they will face the winner between England and Netherlands.
