The Serie A Matchday 16 fixture against Inter will be remembered as a special one for Cristiana Girelli, who made her 200th Bianconere appearance against the Nerazzurre and, in doing so, joined a very elite club.
Cristiana becomes just the fourth player to hit a double century of Bianconere appearances, following teammates Arianna Caruso, Lisa Boattin and Barbara Bonansea in the 200 club.
In those 200 appearances, our No.10 has always been a threat and has never not taken to the field with an insatiable hunger for goals. Ever since her 2018 arrival, Cri has been a reference point in the team, but also off the pitch as well.
In her near-seven years with us, she has one four Serie A titles, three Italian Cups, four Italian Super Cups, and scored an impressive total of 127 goals with the Bianconere - a total that makes her the Bianconere’s all-time record goalscorer.
Always a champion and a leader, Cri now has yet another page to add to her already-impressive story.
