It’s been a good season so far for the Juventus Women’s First Team, and Cristiana Girelli has again been a driving force behind the Bianconere’s early-season form, helping them to sit top of the table.
Nothing new can be said of the No.10’s ability, she’s been doing what she does for years now and everything that can be said of her has been said a thousand times by know. Cristiana knows how to combine class, grit and experience to find a way to always be decisive, and that’s as true as ever this season.
With eight goals so far this season, Cristiana is the top goalscorer in Serie A, and one of the three players with the most headed goals in Europe’s top-five leagues so far (five, alongside Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Bunny Shaw).
As such, Girelli has been named as the Player of the Month for November by the AIC - the Italian Footballers’ Association.
