Antonio Damato has been confirmed as the referee for Saturday evening’s big match between Juventus and Milan in Turin.
The Barletta-born official has already overseen 22 previous Bianconeri fixtures, 17 of which have come in Serie A.
The last of these was a clash with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in November 2014, when Paul Pogba’s double and a solitary Carlos Tevez strike earned Massimiliano Allegri’s men a 3-0 triumph in the capital.
The Bianconeri’s overall league record under his stewardship reads 13 victories, one draw and three defeats.
He will be joined at Juventus Stadium by assistants Costanzo and Marzaloni, fourth official Vuoto and goal-line officials Banti and Nasca.
