De Winter joins Genoa on loan

Koni De Winter will wear the Genoa shirt for the upcoming season, having signed a loan deal with an obligation to buy with the Serie A side for the 2023/24 campaign.

Thus a new adventure in Italy's top-flight awaits for the 21-year-old, following last season's loan spell at Empoli. Having grown up within the youth sector of Zulte Waregem, De Winter joined Juventus in the summer of 2018, and made his debut for the First Team in their Champions League clash against Chelsea on 23 November 2021. He also participated in the recent tour of the United States with the senior squad, and is now ready to write a new chapter in his career.
