Douglas Costa takes positives from first-half display

“It was our first match and we played well for 45 minutes,” said Douglas Costa after Juventus’ Champions League opener in Barcelona.

“The season still has a long way to run and we have plenty of time to play well."

Asked about his fitness levels, he added: “I’m getting better day in, day out. Obviously it will take a bit more time but I can say things have gone well so far.”
