20 May 2024
Having won the Italian Cup just days earlier and scoring the goal that clinched the trophy for Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic enjoyed another milestone just days later. Stepping onto the pitch at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara to face Bologna, the Serbian striker appeared for the 100th time as a Juventus player.
Dusan arrived in Turin in January 2022 and didn’t take long to establish himself as one of the team’s most important players in attack. He scored goals from the off, and he has continued to show his prowess in front of goal since - this season alone, he has had a hand in more than 20 Serie A goals.
So, let’s take a look at some of the standout statistics from his two and a half years with Juventus.
VLAHOVIC’S NUMBERS
- Dusan has been involved in 50 goals with the Bianconeri, netting 41 goals and providing nine assists. The 2023/24 campaign has proven to be his most prolific for the club, scoring 18 times with 16 of those coming in Serie A, as well as providing four assists.
- Since Dusan joined Juventus, only three other players have made 100 appearances for the club - Adrien Rabiot and Danilo (102 each) and Manuel Locatelli (101).
- In his time with the Bianconeri, Dusan has scored more goals (41), had a hand in the most goals (50), had the most shots (288), and had the most attempts on target (112) than any Juventus player across all competitions.
- Vlahovic has taken part in 20 Serie A goals this season (16 goals and four assists), which is the first time any player has hit this figure since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2020/21 (32).
- With his goal against Atalanta in the recent Italian Cup final, Dusan became the third Juventus player to score in two such games after John Charles (1958/59 and 1959/60) and Savino Bellini (1937/38 and 1941/42). He had previously scored in the Italian Cup final against Inter on 11 May, 2022.
Congratulations, Dusan!
