Hat-trick hero Paulo Dybala was the star of show as Juventus recovered from two goals down in the opening seven minutes to beat Genoa 4-2 on Saturday night.
Afterwards the Argentine revealed that the memory of last year's defeat at the same ground was the incentive for the Bianconeri to instigate the comeback.
“Genoa scored with their first attack then when they scored the penalty that woke us up,” La Joya told journalists after the game.
“We remembered what happened in this fixture last season and it inspired us to fight back and turn it around.”
The Argentine also commented on how he's finding life as Juventus' new No.10 before explaining what he intends to do with his well-earned match ball.
“I knew it wouldn't be easy to take on the No.10 shirt and I'm pleased because I've done well with it so far, but it's more important for us to win for the badge we wear on our chests.
“I'll be taking the match ball home tonight as this is my first hat-trick in Italy.”
