The sense of belonging to a strong and united family, a season of development and now a great desire to continue growing together: all of these were highlighted by Emma Kullberg, as she discussed her emotions upon renewing her contract with the club until 2026.
“I'm happy and excited,” she said, “since the day I arrived, it's been great to enjoy every day with this team and in this group. I have learnt and am learning a lot throughout this experience, and it is nice to continue the journey together. When the club informed me that they wanted to extend my contract, it was a moment of great happiness.
A SPECIAL DAY
“A day that will live long in my memory? The match against Roma at the Allianz Stadium: it was a beautiful day, both with the group and in this stadium, with a great crowd supporting us, it was a special feeling.
WHAT JUVE MEANS TO EMMA
“When I arrived, in my first interview, I said that from the outside Juve gave the impression of being a big family, strong and united. I can say, after all these months, that it really is like that.
"If I had to define Juve in one word... It's not easy, there are so many that come to mind, but perhaps the word ‘together’ is the one that best conveys what I feel here."
DEVELOPING ON THE PITCH
This season, Emma has been of great use to the team under Massimiliano Canzi, and the coach has helped her to develop her own game.
“I really like the way we play, and the way the coach has helped me to better develop my approach, both in terms of marking, which is tighter to the opponent, and in the effort he asks me to put into the game. Also as a team, I like the way the coach wants us to be able to change our game, both offensively and defensively, depending on the moments of the match and also on the opponents we face.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
“We have a few very important weeks ahead of us, and both my teammates and I are very focused on giving our best, helping each other and the team and achieving our goals. If I were to think about my future journey here, I still imagine a path of growth, development and further and constant improvement.”
