After the signings of Abi Brighton and Mathilde Harviken in January, Juventus Women have added Norwegian midfielder Emma Stolen Godo - or, to be precise, Stølen Godø - to the First Team squad.
The 24-year-old joins from Valerenga, and has signed a contract with the Bianconere until 30 June, 2027. She will wear the No.17 shirt.
Stolen Godo has some experience of coming up against Juventus already, playing in each of the two Women’s Champions League games against the Bianconere this season.
She cut her teeth as a player with Midsund IL, then joining Molde in the second tier. Emma then stepped up to the top flight with Lyn Oslo, and also represented LSK Kvinner before joining Valerenga. It was during her time with LSK Kvinner that she earned her first Norway call-up in October 2022, and she debuted with her nation’s First Team in February 2023 against Uruguay.
Her time with Lyn Oslo and LSK Kvinner were extremely formative and saw her develop a lot as a player, earning herself a move to Valerenga where that growth continued.
Now, another new chapter begins for Emma, and it is her first adventure outside of her home country.
Welcome to Juventus, Emma!
