"In Italy, there is only one team that has a winning mentality like Juventus, and that's Juventus. They are a fantastic side that plays great football, never goes missing at key moments and has absolute focus on its goals."
These were the words of Genoa coach Ivan Juric on the eve of his team's meeting with Juventus at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris with the Croatian predicting a potentially difficult afternoon for his time against the reigning champions.
For Juric, commitment, bravery and the objective of going out to beat the Bianconeri will be the recipes for success in Liguria tomorrow.
"If I could take one thing from Juve it would probably be the cohesion of their squad. If a player comes off, another steps in to replace him and performs as if he has played in that exact role all of his career. It is incredible the way in which the whole team can adapt to any given situation in a match.
"As for us, it is difficult to impose yourselves on fixtures like this so we will be making a few tactical adjustments to the way we play given the quality of our opponents.
"You have to be at your very best to land a blow on Juventus. They can hurt you from all over the field so we must be ready for them in every duel; if we play for a draw, we'll lose. We're in a good position at the moment even if we have a tricky run of fixtures ahead."
