The Giovanissimi Nazionali were handed a narrow 0-1 defeat by Inter yesterday evening and now face a tense final Group B fixture to determine last four qualification in the championship finals.
After contesting matches on consecutive days, Claudio Gabetta’s youngsters now have a day to recharge the batteries before their decisive clash against Padova on Monday.
The group is still wide open and all sides still have a chance of progressing to the knockout stages. Following their 3-0 win over Sampdoria yesterday, Padova top the group with six points, while Inter and Juventus are both locked on three apiece.
