Following his hard-working performance at the heart of Juventus' midfield in yesterday’s 4-0 success over Hellas Verona, Claudio Marchisio is celebrating his 29th birthday today.
The Bianconeri youth graduate has been a tireless performer for the club since making his first-team debut in a 3-0 Coppa Italia victory against Martina in August 2006.
Fast forward nine years and Marchisio has won three Serie A titles, a Serie B championship and three Italian Super Cups. He has also been a key member for the Italian national team and was part of Cesare Prandelli’s squad who finished runners-up to Spain at the 2012 European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
Everyone at Juventus Football Club wishes Claudio many happy returns on his special day.
