Fabio Grosso won over the hearts of many for his match-winning exploits in the 2006 World Cup and he’s since secured the affection of the Bianconeri family for his hard work, energy and enthusiasm both as a player between 2009 and 2012 and as Primavera coach since 2014.
In his two-and-a-half seasons in charge of Juve’s Under 19s, Grosso has overseen the development of several young talents, while attaining improved results with the team as a whole, steering them to tangible successes on the pitch.
Last season, his charges lifted the Viareggio Cup before reaching the finals of both the league championship and Coppa Italia, and this term the Primavera are on course for further noteworthy achievements as they sit level on points with Sassuolo at the top of their division section, having also qualified for the UEFA Youth League knockout stages.
Success that always tends to come with a smile on his face. Indeed, Grosso has always managed to instill the right values in his boys by maintaining the calm, well-mannered approach that had characterised his distinguished playing career beforehand.
Everyone at Juventus wishes Fabio many happy returns on his special day.
