Leonardo Bonucci is celebrating his 28th birthday today.
Having joined the club from Bari back in July 2010, the defender has gone on to forge an impenetrable partnership alongside fellow stoppers Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli at the heart of the Bianconeri’s brilliant backline.
This backbone has been one of the key cogs in the Juventus machine which has allowed Bonucci to pick up three Scudetto winners’ medals and two Italian Super Cups during his five-season spell in Turin.
More success could just be around the corner for the Azzurri international as he and his team-mates complete their final preparations for Saturday’s away encounter at Sampdoria, where a draw would see the Old Lady secure the club’s 33rd Serie A title. It may truly be a birthday weekend to remember for Bonucci.
