It was a childhood dream come true when Manuel Locatelli signed for Juventus in August and the crowning moment of an unforgettable summer for the EURO 2020 winner.
Today ‘Loca’ celebrates his first birthday as a Bianconeri player.
The talented midfielder has swiftly found himself at the centre of Massimilano Allegri’s plans. No other player has made more appearances or clocked up as many minutes in Serie A so far for the Bianconeri.
The coach’s faith in him was repaid with the only goal of the game against Torino in October. The decider in his first Derby della Mole – another milestone moment!
On the eve of the crucial encounter with Roma, no doubt Manuel’s 24th birthday celebrations will be lowkey. Three points from the Olimpico, however, would be the perfect gift.
