Rodrigo Bentancur arrived to Juventus as a bit of an unknown coming from Argentine giants Boca Juniors, but it didn't take him long to endear himself to the Bianconeri faithful.
Making his debut in the second match of the season at Genoa, the Uruguayan went on to play 27 matches in his inaugural season showing calm, composed play in the midfield beyond his years.
Not just on the Italian stage, but internationally as well, Bentancur's 20th year was one he will never forget as he made his full international debut for Uruguay in October.
The man from Nueva Helvecia has cemented his spot on the squad playing in the first two FIFA World Cup matches as Uruguay earned a spot in the round of 16.
If year 21 is anything like year 20, there's plenty of exciting things to come and we can't wait to see Rodrigo keep growing in the black and white!
