It’s a special day for our rising starlet Samuel Iling-Junior, who blows out 20 candles on his birthday cake – his very first after being officially integrated into the First Team squad.
The English forward made his senior Bianconero debut just under a year ago, having starred in the Next Gen side before being called up by Massimiliano Allegri, taking to the field for the first time in last October’s 4-0 victory over Empoli.
Since then he’s made 21 appearances for the First Team, using his speed and skills to make an impact each time he takes to the pitch, and was rewarded for his efforts late last season with his first goal in his side’s away victory at Sassuolo.
His continued upward trajectory earned him a first start for England’s Under-21 side just last month, as he continues to grow and improve.
Now he’s preparing with his club teammates for a big match this Saturday, as he looks to feature in his first Derby della Mole.
