Samuel Iling-Junior has left Juventus after four years in Turin. The 20-year-old has joined Premier League side Aston Villa.
Samuel arrived in Turin in September 2020 after coming through the youth ranks at Chelsea, and he began his journey with Juventus as part of the Under-19 team, making 66 appearances and scoring 14 goals.
His time with the Next Gen side was short-lived, stepping up to the Men’s First Team in October 2022 when he debuted against Empoli at the Allianz Stadium. Samuel went on to make 45 appearances for the senior side, scoring two goals - against Atalanta in May 2023, then against Salernitana at the end of the 2023/24 season. He also provided four assists, one of which came on his Champions League debut in Lisbon.
He won his first trophy with Juventus on May 15, 2024, lifting the Italian Cup after the 1-0 win over Atalanta in Rome, playing from the first minute in the final.
Now, Samuel begins a new chapter back in England.
